Salaries – 24%
This is all for Staff that work at the Joan Rose Foundation in Haiti on a daily basis. In total we have 13 employees.

Private School Tuition Payments and Classroom Expenses – 30%
This is almost all for private school tuition payments.  We pay for about 150 children to attend school.

Loan Program- 8%
These are all relatively small loans to hard working Haitian small business owners.  This is all money given specifically for our loan program, we do not use general donations for this program.

Medical – 2%
This is highly variable year to year.  This year our big expense was Yakelin’s hospitalization
